German company Engel produces practical, durable and ethical basics from Organic Cotton, Organic Merino Wool and Organic Merino Wool with Silk. All the dyestuffs used are free from heavy metals and harmful AZO-dyes. For the colouring of woollen textile’s, they only use reactive dye, which compounds particularly well with fibre and stands out for its excellent fastness. All finishing agents used are bio-degradable and must not pollute soil, air and water. All Engel press studs and zips are free from nickel and all other materials stem from natural renewable resources. Engel products are designed and produced in Germany.
